2. JOB INFORMATION

Career level: Professional, Phase 2+

Job type: Full-time, permanent

Work location: HCMC, Vietnam

Salary: USD 1,500 – 1,800 gross

Responsibilities

a) Geotechnical design, analysis and assessment for ground improvement works, foundation, excavation, earth retaining structures, slope stabilisation, instrumentation and site investigation

b) Plan, design, supervise and coordinate for geotechnical/ civil engineering and infrastructure design

c) Ensure all engineering works comply with all relevant statutory standards, regulations and Codes of Practice

d) Liaison with project stakeholders, clients, other consultants, contractors

e) Assist Team Leader in maintaining high quality standards of design

 Requirements

Attributes

c) Abilities to work on demand;

d) Abilities to work independently as well as in teamwork.

Skills             

a) Good communication, presentation in both Vietnamese and English;

b) Proficiency in Geotechnical engineering software (Eg. Plaxis, Roc Science, etc) and Building Information Modelling (BIM)

Knowledge   

a) Bachelor of Engineering/MSc / PhD in relevant engineering disciplines.

3 to 8 years of post-graduate experience working in a design consulting firm

b) Familiar with civil works like roads, drains, sewers, marine structures, coastal structures, underground utilities, etc.

c) Familiar with Euro codes and preferably with Singapore building regulations and Authorities requirements
