2. JOB INFORMATION

Job Overview: The right candidate will assume a hands-on role within company to provide exceptional administration and accounting services.

Responsibilities     

a) Active bookkeeping for business clients

b) Preparing and ensuring the accuracy of financial reports and tax returns for companies, trust and individual

c) Full function of accounting including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, profit and loss, business activity statement and payroll

d) Conducting forecasting and risk analysis assessments

d) Preparing monthly and quarterly invoicing bank reconciliation intercompany transactions and monthly management reports

e) Prepare financial statements assisting in annual ATO compliance works

f) Evaluating financial operations to recommend best-practices, identify issues and strategize solutions, and help organizations run efficiently

g) Preparation of Activity Statements including instalment activity statements and Business Activity Statements

h) Familiar with the Australian Taxation Portal – MyGov (previously Auskey)

i) Preparation of Xero workpapers, practice manager and Xero Tax procifiency

j) Learning our standard of procedures and filling procedure in sharepoint

k) Work on tax entities including family trusts, companies, partnerships and sole traders with net worth $300k - $10 million

a) Outstanding Communication, English proficient in both verbal and written.

d) Excellent administrative, interpersonal, time management and organizational abilities

e) Proactive not reactive – should be able to handle client inquiries and issues and have the initiative to provide solutions and discuss with the team before a problem arises

 

Knowledge  

a) Bachelor and/or master’s Accounting degree

b) At least four (04) years of experience in doing the similar jobs as Australian trained accountants

c) Preferable candidate with CPA/CA certificate

d) Proficient in using all functions of Xero accounting software – payroll, general ledger management, chart of accounts, bookkeeping, reconciliations, reporting including annual financial reports and customizing reports

e) Strong understanding of business structure, accounting and taxation concepts
