Work location: HCMC (within 15 minutes from D1/D3. To be confirmed soon) Head Office and Clinic will be in one building.
Basic Salary: Open to negotiation.

Job Overview: Seeking a skilled Internist, based in Vietnam, to treat Vietnamese cancer patients as part of a Singapore/ Vietnam medical team. As an internist, you will work in collaboration with Singaporean and Vietnamese specialists and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care for patients, focusing on disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of both acute and chronic conditions. The candidate will also deliver patient-centered care in line with world-class, Singapore standards. Opportunities to travel to Singapore for learning will be provided. Reports to local Vietnamese Medical Director.
Clinic Hours:
Monday to Friday: 07:30 am to 05:00 pm
Saturday: 07:30 am to 12:00 pm
3. RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Patient Care & Treatment:
- Conduct thorough assessments, including patient history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and respiratory issues.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Coordinate care with other Singapore/ Vietnamese medical professionals, including referrals to specialists when necessary.
- Must be contactable by patients.
2. Medical Procedures:
- Perform minor clinic-based medical procedures and diagnostic tests as needed.
- Interpret laboratory results, imaging studies, and other diagnostics to inform treatment.
- Build and maintain strong patient-doctor relationships.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress.
- Provide follow-up care and monitor ongoing health issues.
3. Collaboration:
- Act as the main practicing Internist in the Vietnam clinic, working directly under the Vietnam-based and the Singapore-based Medical Director. The Singapore Headquarters Medical Director is higher in rank.
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and telemedicine consultations with the Singaporean team.
- Ensure that the candidate stays updated on new cancer treatments and techniques through regular training and workshops.
- Work with Clinic Manager to meet any new or existing associates to form/ maintain new medical partnerships, if needed.
4. Training & Development:
- Provide mentorship and training to Vietnamese clinic nursing staff on patient care best practices.
- Facilitate continuous medical education and participate in conferences and seminars locally and abroad in Singapore.
5. Patient Education & Support:
- Educate patients and families on cancer diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and lifestyle adjustments.
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients throughout their treatment journey.
- Promote patient safety and Singaporean quality standard of care.
6. Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with both local Vietnamese healthcare regulations and international oncology standards.
- Prepare regular reports on patient outcomes and treatment efficacy for review by the Vietnamese and Singaporean Oncologist Medical Director.
4. REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge
- Medical Degree (M.D.) from an accredited university.
- Board-certified in Internal Medicine.
- Licensed to practice in Vietnam, with additional experience in international clinical settings a plus.
- Around of 10 years of experience as an Internist.
- Fluency in Vietnamese and English (both written and spoken) is required.
- Experience working with international teams and an understanding of multicultural medical practices.
